Thaleia Matika discusses financial hardships and family life

Greek actress Thaleia Matika shared details regarding her personal and financial struggles during a recent interview on the program ‘Super Katerina’. She revealed that she and her husband, Tasos Iordanidis, faced a period of ‘economic catastrophe’ that forced them to start over from below zero.

Matika noted that these financial difficulties coincided with the arrival of their two children and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. She praised Iordanidis for his resilience and determination, describing him as someone who can rise again with dignity even after falling very low. She also mentioned that the challenges have led him to become a workaholic.

Reflecting on their 18-year relationship, Matika expressed her deep affection and companionship with her husband. She also touched upon her experiences with motherhood, noting that neither of her pregnancies was planned and describing the physical challenges of her children's births.
