Thales introduces AI-driven HexaForce command system for the Gulf
Thales has introduced HexaForce, a new command and control system powered by artificial intelligence and large language models (LLM), specifically designed to meet the needs of the Gulf region. The system is intended to enhance decision-making processes across all command levels by processing vast amounts of operational data in real-time.
By utilizing agent-based technologies and LLMs, HexaForce aims to increase situational awareness and reduce the cognitive load on military personnel. The system can offer operational recommendations, such as target selection, allowing operators to manage large datasets more efficiently. During testing at NATO’s CWIX exercise in Poland, the platform demonstrated the ability to identify threats within seconds.
To support national sovereignty, Thales built HexaForce on open standards. This architecture allows countries to maintain operational data within their own borders and customize the system to local requirements, reducing reliance on external vendors. Thales is considering regional partnerships for local assembly and customization to foster technological independence in the region.
