Thales launches HexaForce AI command and control system

Thales has announced the launch of HexaForce, a next-generation, AI-enhanced multi-domain command and control (C2) system designed for NATO and allied nations. The platform was successfully tested during the NATO CWIX 2026 exercise and is built to support high-intensity warfare by managing command requirements for over 100,000 personnel.

HexaForce operates across multiple domains, including land, sea, air, cyber, electromagnetic spectrum, space, and information operations. It utilizes an open, interoperable architecture and leverages the capabilities of cortAIx, Thales’ dedicated AI accelerator. The system incorporates Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI to assist operators by reducing planning times, improving situational awareness, and accelerating decision-making processes.

The technology is intended to help military forces process and prioritize massive volumes of operational data, facilitating real-time tactical integration and more efficient resource allocation.
