Thales launches HexaForce AI command and control system
Thales has announced the launch of HexaForce, a next-generation multi-domain command and control (C2) system integrated with artificial intelligence. Designed to ensure national sovereignty, the system aims to provide rapid operational responses to the increasing volume of operational data and the accelerating pace of modern conflicts.
HexaForce operates across multiple domains, including land, air, maritime, cyber, electromagnetic spectrum, space, and information operations. Its distributed and resilient architecture is intended to coordinate existing national and coalition military systems, streamlining decision-making processes.
The system utilizes Thales’s cortAIx AI accelerator, which incorporates large language models (LLM) and advanced agentic AI. HexaForce was successfully tested during the NATO CWIX 2026 exercise and is intended to serve as a standard for NATO and allied nations in high-intensity conflict environments.
