Thales unveils new AI-driven cybersecurity solutions

Thales, Europe’s largest defense technology firm, has unveiled five new cybersecurity solutions designed to defend against artificial intelligence-driven attacks. During the Thales Cyber Summit, the company introduced tools such as Sentinel Envelope Plus, which aims to protect compiled software applications from automated vulnerability searches by AI agents. Additionally, the company announced the CipherTrust Data Security Posture Management platform to facilitate data detection, risk analysis, and encryption.

Thales CEO Caine emphasized the necessity of investing in AI-powered defenses to counter the “frightening” increase in sophisticated cyberattacks, noting that attackers are increasingly using autonomous models and state-actor resources to target both government institutions and private companies providing critical services.

To bolster its security architecture, Thales is expanding its partnership with Google Cloud, integrating its AI Security Fabric into the Gemini Enterprise platform. Alongside these technological advancements, the company’s board approved an interim dividend of 1.05 euros per share for the 2026 fiscal year.
