Thane Municipal Corporation announces 61 health staff vacancies

Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) in Maharashtra has issued a recruitment notification for 61 contractual positions in its Public Health Department. The posts include GNM (female), GNM (male) and Multi‑Purpose Worker (MPW) roles, each to be filled for a period of 11 months and 29 days on a consolidated remuneration basis.

Applicants must hold a B.Sc. Nursing or GNM qualification (with MNC registration for GNM posts) or a 12th‑pass science certificate with a paramedical training for MPW. The age limit is 21 to 45 years, with salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹20,000 per month. Selection will be conducted through an interview. Applications are to be submitted online via a Google Form by 07 August 2026, 2:00 PM.

The recruitment is part of the Fifteenth Finance Commission programme for the fiscal year 2025‑26 and aims to strengthen TMC’s public‑health services under the National Health Mission.
