Thang Long Avenue service roads flooded in Hanoi

The Hanoi Department of Construction has announced traffic restrictions and diversions on the service roads of Thang Long Avenue due to severe flooding. Following prolonged heavy rainfall, the Tich River has risen, causing water levels in several underpasses and service roads between Km26+00 and Km28+00 to reach depths of 0.7 to 1 meter.

Authorities have prohibited all vehicles from passing through the flooded sections to ensure safety. Specific diversion plans have been implemented for both directions: vehicles traveling from Hanoi toward Hoa Lac must turn at Km26+00, while those traveling from Hoa Lac toward Hanoi must use the Phu Cat overpass and local roads to bypass the submerged areas. These measures remain in effect until the flooding subsides.
