Thanh Hoa officials inspect large-scale livestock projects
Cao Van Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, conducted inspections of several large-scale livestock projects in Mau Lam, Sao Vang, and Thach Lap communes to ensure they remain on schedule.
In Sao Vang commune, the inspection focused on the Xuan Phu broiler chicken project by Phu Gia Agricultural Products JSC. The 16.3-hectare project, with a total investment of 310 billion VND, is nearing the completion of its second phase. The farm currently houses 36,256 parent chickens imported from Denmark.
In Thach Lap commune, the delegation reviewed the Newhope Dong Thinh pig breeding project by Dabaco Group. This 19.9-hectare project involves a 466 billion VND investment. Construction of 20 housing rows and auxiliary works is largely complete, with plans to begin pig farming on August 28, 2026, aiming for an annual production of approximately 135,000 piglets.
Additionally, the delegation visited the 4A broiler chicken farm project by Nhu Thanh Agriculture - Tourism Investment JSC in Mau Lam commune. This high-tech agricultural project covers 27 hectares with a 250 billion VND investment and a designed capacity of 6.5 million chickens per year. The investor is currently constructing eight housing rows, with operations expected to begin by November 15, 2026.
