Da Nang police arrest suspects in luxury resort and casino thefts

Police in Da Nang have arrested two suspects involved in high-value thefts.

Enola Lugai, a foreign tourist, was apprehended for stealing luxury items including a Rolex watch and Louis Vuitton bags from a villa at the Wyndham hotel. The stolen goods were valued at over 500 million VND. Lugai admitted to the theft, stating she committed the crime due to a lack of employment and funds.

In a separate incident, Hoang Trinh Bao, an employee at Double Win Hoi An (part of Nam Hoi An Casino), was arrested for stealing 120,000 USD. Bao exploited a shift change and an unattended cash drawer to take the money, which he used to pay off debts. Authorities have seized a portion of the stolen funds.
