Thanh Hoa to host large-scale celebration for National Day

Thousands of people are expected to participate in the “Cung Viet Nam tien buoc” (Moving Forward with Vietnam) program at Lam Son Square in Thanh Hoa. Organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security, the event will take place simultaneously across 34 provinces and cities.

The program commemorates the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, as well as the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security. In Thanh Hoa, participants will include 500 members of the armed forces, 500 faculty and students from Hong Duc University, and approximately 2,800 officials, teachers, students, and local residents.

In addition to a flag-saluting ceremony and walking activities, the event will feature physical exercises, folk music performances, martial arts demonstrations, and sports competitions. The initiative aims to promote community health, solidarity, and a healthy lifestyle among the public and civil servants.
