Thanh Xuân Concert 2026 showcases massive student choir in Hanoi

The Thanh Xuân Concert 2026 will be held on 27 June at the F1 race track adjacent to My Đình National Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam. Organized by the newspaper Tiền Phong to celebrate the successful 13th National Youth Union Congress, the free‑entry event is aimed at youth, students and young adults.

A highlight of the show is a large choreography performed by roughly 200 university students from 23 faculties of the Hanoi Pedagogical University. One participant, 2006‑born history student Trần Thị Hòa, explained that her choir branch alone includes about 100 singers. She said, “Mình đã từng thử nhiều vị trí khi tham gia concert như làm staff, khán giả…”. The rehearsals began on 22 June, with students practicing stage movements and preparing for the performance.

The stage design forms the letter “Y” for “Young”, incorporating motifs of an open book, a torch and the Lạc bird’s wings to symbolize the pursuit of knowledge and cultural roots. The concert will feature popular Vietnamese artists such as Hòa Minzy, Quang Hùng MasterD, Võ Hạ Trâm, Đông Hùng and DJ/producer Hoaprox, alongside the student performers.
