Thanksgiving celebrations announced for New York and Spain

Various regions are preparing for Thanksgiving celebrations. In Manhattan, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will mark its 100th edition on November 26, 2026. The event will feature a record 100 giant inflatables, including a special Mickey Mouse design and the return of the character Underdog. The parade route will span approximately 2.5 miles from the Upper West Side to Herald Square.

In Salas de los Infantes, Spain, traditional festivities will include a golf tournament, a popular scavenger hunt, and religious services at the Church of Santa María. The program features musical performances by various orchestras and charangas, alongside local traditions such as the ‘Toro de Luces’ and ‘Toro de Fuego’.
