Thanos Plevris to visit Imathia region

Thanos Plevris, the Minister of Migration and Asylum, is scheduled to visit the Imathia region on August 31, 2026.

The itinerary includes a visit to the Controlled Temporary Accommodation Facility for Asylum Seekers in Alexandreia at 13:00, followed by a visit to the Veria facility at the ‘Armatolu Kokkinou’ camp in Varvares at 13:45.

Later in the afternoon, the Minister will meet with the Vice Regional Governor of Imathia, Konstantinos Kalaididis, at 14:30, visit ALEXANDER A.E. at 15:15, and conclude with a visit to the offices of the D.E.E.P.N. Imathia at 16:00.
