Thao Nguyen Announces New Album 'Show Me' and Single 'Sick of the Times

Singer‑songwriter Thao Nguyen announced her first album in six years, titled Show Me, scheduled for release on October 30, 2026 through the Kill Rock Stars label. The record, co‑produced with Merrill Garbus of Tune‑Yards and Nate Brenner, explores love, identity and personal transformation after a period of divorce and upheaval, and includes guest appearances by Tune‑Yards, The Linda Lindas, Neko Case and Adrian Quesada.

The lead single, “Sick of the Times,” is an art‑rock protest anthem featuring Tune‑Yards and The Linda Lindas, intended for use at rallies, grassroots organizing and mutual‑aid events. For her upcoming West Coast tour dates, Nguyen will donate US$1 from every ticket sold to the progressive group Working Families Power.
