Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 set for September 2026 release

The second season of the anime series ‘Reincarnated as a Sword’ is scheduled to premiere on September 30, 2026, via streaming services such as ABEMA in Japan. Regular television broadcasts are set to begin on October 7, 2026, on networks including TOKYO MX and ABC TV.

Produced by Studio C2C and directed by Shinji Ishihira, the new season will feature a story involving Fran and Professor exploring a floating island and a labyrinthine dungeon. New promotional materials, including a key visual and a second trailer, have been released to showcase upcoming battles against enemies like the Lich.

The musical themes have also been confirmed: the opening song, ‘DREAM OF BUTTERFLY’, will be performed by the band FZMZ, while the ending theme, ‘Baribari Buddy’, will be performed by the group HANABIE..
