The 69 Eyes release new acoustic single ‘Brandon Lee’

Goth rock band The 69 Eyes has released a new acoustic version of their single ‘Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica)’. Originally appearing on their 2000 album ‘Blessed Be’, the track was remixed by American producer Matt Hyde, known for his work with Slayer and Deftones.

The release serves as a preview for a full acoustic album scheduled for release in early 2027. To support this new direction, the band plans a nationwide concert hall tour in Finland starting in February next year.

Frontman Jyrki 69 noted that after performing 89 shows across 22 countries in a single year, the band decided to ‘shift gears’ by developing new arrangements of familiar songs for an acoustic setting. The official music video for the single was filmed at Suomenlinna in Helsinki.
