The Addams Family musical reaches new stages in Philadelphia and Guam

The musical comedy ‘The Addams Family’ is being staged in different locations, featuring the eccentric household as they navigate themes of growing up and romance.

At the Walnut Street Theatre, the production is directed and choreographed by Richard Stafford. The plot follows Wednesday Addams as she attempts to keep her engagement to an ‘All-American’ boy, Lucas Beineke, a secret from her mother, Morticia. The story centers on the comedic clash between the Addams family and Lucas’s normal parents during a dinner at the Addams estate.

In Guam, studio Three Blind Mice has announced a local production running from October 28 to November 1. Directed by Miren Sofia Jordana, the production aims to showcase local performing arts talent, including actors, musicians, and technicians, while bringing the musical’s themes of family acceptance to the island stage.
