THE ALFEE 14‑Month Live Special Launches on CS Satellite Theater

Japan’s veteran pop‑rock band THE ALFEE is being featured in a 14‑month continuous live‑music special on the CS Satellite Theater, running from June 2026 through July 2027. The series celebrates the group’s 52nd anniversary, with August highlighted as the debut month. On August 22 the channel will air rare NHK‑original music‑variety programmes – the 1990 “Music Dream Collection” and the 2010 “Hot‑Blooded Old‑Guys Battle” special – alongside live concert footage such as THE ALFEE’s 20th Summer 2001 event at Saitama Super Arena. The schedule also includes the year‑end “Count Down 2001” concert on August 25 and further archival performances from 2000‑2002 slated for September and October. The project offers fans a curated look at the band’s historic concerts and television appearances, many of which are being broadcast for the first time on satellite TV.
