THE ALFEE legendary concerts to receive television premiere

BS10 Premium has announced the television premiere of two legendary live performances by the veteran Japanese band THE ALFEE as part of a five-month special program airing in October.

The first broadcast, scheduled for October 11, features the ‘2023 Winter Genesis of New World Final’ held at the Nippon Budokan on December 24, 2023. This concert marked a milestone as the band’s 101st performance at the venue, a first for a Japanese band. Highlights include the debut of ‘Tenshi no Dengon ~TASUKI~’, a collaboration composed by Toshihiko Takamizawa in memory of the late Shinji Tanimura, and the performance of the previously unreleased track ‘Fuchu Torimono Hikae’.

The second broadcast, airing on October 4, features the ‘15th Summer 1996 YOKOHAMA RED BRICKS I & II’ outdoor concerts. Held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse before its redevelopment, the two-day event drew approximately 70,000 spectators and featured a massive stage shaped like a ship, utilizing the natural transition from day to night.
