THE ALFEE reaches 3,023 live performances during 52nd anniversary summer event
Japanese rock band THE ALFEE celebrated their 52nd anniversary by hosting their 40th annual summer event at K Arena Yokohama on August 15 and 16. The two-day event drew a total of 36,000 attendees.
Since the tradition began in 1982 at Tokorozawa Aero Park, the summer events have reached a cumulative attendance of 1.81 million people. During the performances, the band played up to 40 songs, including their latest single ‘Crossroad-Ai no Menkyo Henno-’ and ‘Hoshizora no Distance,’ in sets lasting over two and a half hours.
As of August 16, the band has reached a total of 3,023 live performances. Member Takamizawa expressed gratitude to the fans, noting that the band's longevity is driven by their love for music. The group is scheduled to continue their activities with autumn hall tours and winter arena tours starting in October.
