The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 announced for 2026

The third season of the popular anime series ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ is scheduled to premiere in two parts. The first part is set to debut on October 2, 2026, during the Fall anime season, while the second part is expected in April 2027.

During the ABEMA Anime Festival, voice actor Takeo Otsuka, who voices the character Jinshi, teased that the upcoming season will feature a shift in tone. He noted that while the story continues to move forward, the atmosphere will feel “different from before” and “interesting in a different way.”

The new season will adapt volumes 5 and 6 of the original light novel by Hyūganatsu. The plot follows Maomao as she returns to work at the Verdigris House following the Shi Clan rebellion, while Jinshi navigates new royal duties after revealing his identity as the Moon Prince. The narrative is expected to cover various story arcs, including the Family Secrets Arc and the Locust Plague Arc.
