The Armory Show highlights Caribbean artists and galleries

The Armory Show is returning to the Javits Center from September 24–27, featuring over 240 exhibitors. This edition places a significant curatorial emphasis on the Caribbean and its diaspora, integrating these artists and galleries into the fair's layout through the south entrance.

Key highlights include the Havana-founded gallery El Apartamento, a solo presentation by Haitian American artist Kathia St. Hilaire at Perrotin, and works by Shara Mays and Antonio Luiz Morais de Andrade. The fair's north entrance will focus on the United States and New York-based galleries, such as Sean Kelly and Hollis Taggart.

The event is also expanding its 'Presents' and 'Solo' sections to provide more space for emerging galleries and individual artist presentations, fostering dialogue between different generations and artistic histories across the Americas.
