The Ascent Neon Giant Krafton November 2026 update co‑op improvements

Neon Giant and publisher Krafton announced a major update for the cyber‑punk shooter The Ascent, scheduled for release in November 2026 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The update coincides with the game’s five‑year anniversary and comes as the title has exceeded 12 million players worldwide.

The November patch will focus on improving co‑op teleportation, the encounter system, save‑game and player‑progression reliability, HDR support and localisation across all supported languages. Neon Giant co‑founder Arcade Berg said the studio is proud of the franchise and has taken player feedback into account, describing the update as the start of a new chapter that includes plans to bring The Ascent to new platforms, genres and future sequels. The press release was issued from Amsterdam on 26 July 2026.

Neon Giant, now a small team of about 20 creators, also confirmed it is working on a new project titled No Law, hinting at further expansion of its development portfolio.
