Gehring suffered multiple facial fractures, including a broken nose and an open fracture, and spent the night in the emergency room.

The Basketball Tournament (TBT) announced an indefinite suspension for Keene and condemned the violence. The AfterShocks organization and Wichita State University issued apologies, describing the incident as “deeply disturbing.” Police are investigating, and no arrests have been made.
