The Batman Part II filming begins in Glasgow

Filming for the sequel ‘The Batman Part II’ has progressed in Glasgow, with recent footage capturing a look at Robert Pattinson’s modified Batmobile. The vehicle, a heavily modified muscle car based on a Dodge Charger, was spotted being moved into a garage near the junction of St. Vincent Lane and West Campbell Street.

Production activities in Glasgow are expected to impact local infrastructure. According to reports, film crews may shut down major routes including Wellington Street, Bothwell Street, the Glasgow Bridge, and the Broomielaw quay for approximately three weeks. Additionally, murals on the Kingston Bridge pillars were covered to better simulate the aesthetic of Gotham City.

Directed by Matt Reeves, the film features Robert Pattinson reprising his role as Bruce Wayne. The cast includes Brian Tyree Henry, Jeffrey Wright, and Colin Farrell, among others. The sequel is currently scheduled for release on February 18, 2028.
