The Batman: Part II production reveals new set details and Batmobile footage

Production for Matt Reeves’ “The Batman: Part II” is currently underway in the United Kingdom, with Glasgow, Scotland, serving as a stand-in for Gotham City. Leaked set photos and videos have provided fans with a detailed look at the sequel’s production elements, including a potentially damaged Batmobile and updated versions of Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit.

Footage from the set suggests high-action sequences involving a pursuit between the Batmobile and the Gotham City Police Department. Some images depict the vehicle in a state of wreckage, leading to fan speculation regarding its role in the plot. Additionally, leaked scenes show Bruce Wayne in a vulnerable state, appearing to receive medical attention from Alfred Pennyworth, played by Andy Serkis.

In a recent interview, Robert Pattinson noted that filming the sequel has been “significantly harder” than the first installment due to the physical demands of the fight sequences. The actor described the production process as a “marathon” but expressed optimism regarding the film. The sequel is currently scheduled for a theatrical release in early 2028.
