The Batman Part II to Feature Court of Owls and New Villains

New entertainment reports cite insider Jeff Sneider that Matt Reeves' sequel The Batman Part II will introduce the secret society known as the Court of Owls, an ancient Gotham criminal syndicate whose members include the assassin Talons. The same source indicates that Sebastian Stan has been cast as the serial killer Victor Zsasz, while Brian Tyree Henry is set to play District Attorney Harvey Dent, with Scarlett Johansson rumored as Dent’s wife Gilda and Charles Dance as his father Christopher. Director Reeves has hinted that the film’s primary antagonist will be a fresh psychological threat to Bruce Wayne. The sequel is scheduled for release on October 1 2027 and will see Robert Pattinson return as Batman alongside returning cast members Colin Farrell (Penguin), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon) and Andy Serkis (Alfred).
