The Big Bang Theory leads US streaming rankings for third consecutive week
The sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’ has topped the US streaming rankings for the third consecutive week. Between July 27 and August 2, the series recorded 1.14 billion minutes watched, making it the only series or film to surpass the one-billion-minute mark during that period.
This viewership trend is driven by repeat viewing on the Max platform rather than new content releases. Other high-performing titles in the top five include the Netflix documentary ‘The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare’ with 864 million minutes, the Netflix production ‘Ransom Canyon’ with 816 million minutes, the Prime Video film ‘Partners in Crime’ with 786 million minutes, and ‘Ted Lasso’ on Apple TV+ with 446 million minutes.
The franchise continues to expand through various spin-offs, including ‘Young Sheldon’, ‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’, and the recently renewed ‘Stuart Can’t Save the Universe’.
