The Black Box theater production returns to En Athinais

The black comedy play ‘The Black Box’ (To Mavro Kouti), written by Giorgos Iliopoulos and directed by Alexandros Cohen, is returning for a second season at the En Athinais Theater in Athens. Following a successful run last year, the production by the Pharos Technis Theater Company is scheduled to premiere on Friday, October 2, 2026.

The plot centers on a father and son whose relationship is strained by long-held secrets and past conflicts. The story follows the son, who has been living and working in New York, as he is forced to return to his paternal home in Greece. This return triggers the revelation of truths that challenge their daily lives and family dynamics. The production features a cast including Stefanos Kyriakidis, Maria Kanellopoulou, Nicoletta Karra, Stavros Karagiannis, and Katerina Kyriazi.

Performances are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 21:00 and Sundays at 19:00 for a limited number of shows.
