The Black Crowes continue to build on reunion success

Following their 2019 reunion, the Black Crowes are experiencing a resurgence in popularity. Guitarist Rich Robinson noted that the band’s recent Southern Hospitality tour, which featured outdoor venues and support from Whiskey Myers, allowed them to integrate new material from their March release, ‘A Pound of Feathers’, seamlessly with their existing catalog.

Robinson highlighted a renewed appreciation for the band’s 2001 album, ‘Lions’. While the record initially received mixed reviews, the band has seen a shift in fan sentiment. During a San Diego performance opening for Guns N’ Roses, the band performed ‘Midnight From the Inside Out’, a track from the ‘Lions’ era that had been played only sporadically over the last 25 years.
