The Black Thunder releases new single ‘Ash in My Marrow’

Polish doom/alternative metal band The Black Thunder has released a music video for their new single, ‘Ash in My Marrow’. The track serves as the second single promoting their upcoming third studio album, ‘Time Obliteration’, which is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, via Pagan Records.

This new material marks a stylistic shift for the group, moving away from the stoner and groove sounds of their previous albums, ‘Visions in Black’ (2017) and ‘Into the Darkness We All Fall’ (2021). The upcoming album incorporates elements of black metal, sludge, technical precision, and crust punk. Notably, the single features a mix of English and Polish lyrics, a first for the band.

The album was recorded live at Dobra 12 Studio in Białystok under the supervision of Piotr Polak, with mixing and mastering handled by Haldor Grunberg from Satanic Audio. Lyrically, the project explores themes of existential anxiety and internal conflict.
