The Block 2026 adds father‑daughter duo Rick & Tayla and Perth power couple Lisa & Rosco

The Block returns for its 22nd season in 2026, filming luxury renovations in Mount Eliza on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. The new Green Team consists of father‑daughter duo Rick, a 63‑year‑old builder, and his 32‑year‑old daughter Tayla, a personal trainer and mother, who will compete together for the first time.

Perth couple Lisa and Rosco also join the competition. Lisa, a 34‑year‑old paramedic and nurse, and Rosco, a 38‑year‑old logistics worker, have previously built their own farmhouse from the ground up and bring hands‑on experience to the show. Lisa will handle styling, finances and trade support while Rosco will act as project‑manager and tradie. Both teams aim to transform five luxury homes across two precincts, adhering to new standard construction hours imposed by the series.

The contestants’ backgrounds and team dynamics are highlighted ahead of the season’s first room reveal, with the show promising heightened pressure and competition.
