The Block 2026 reveals $3.45m reserve prices for Mount Eliza homes

The reserve prices for the five homes featured on the upcoming season of The Block have been revealed as $3.45 million each. The auction is scheduled for Sunday, 1 November, in Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula.

The early disclosure of these figures follows new underquoting property legislation in Victoria, which requires agents to reveal a home’s reserve price one week prior to auction. This marks a departure from the show’s traditional format where reserves were a major reveal on auction night. While the $3.45 million reserve is significantly higher than the previous season’s Daylesford reserves, it sits well above the Mount Eliza median house price of approximately $1,720,000.

Host Shelley Craft and co-host Scotty Cam noted that while contestants are rarely satisfied with reserve prices, their reactions this year have been relatively measured. The properties, located across the Uptown and Downtown precincts overlooking Port Phillip Bay, were handed to teams as completed structural frames to be finished into high-end residences.
