The Block opens 2027 casting applications

Applications for the 2027 season of the Australian reality renovation series ‘The Block’ are now officially open. Producers are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking teams of two to participate in the competition. While previous home renovation experience is welcomed, it is not a mandatory requirement for both partners.

On the current season, contestants Courtney and Sev have maintained a strong performance, securing multiple room-reveal wins. However, Courtney shared that the pressure of managing the renovation budget and concerns regarding how the show might impact her professional career led to mental strain and sleepless nights during filming.
