Rebel Wolves adds 60 FPS mode to The Blood of Dawnwalker at launch
Rebel Wolves has announced that its upcoming action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, will include a 60 FPS Performance Mode on consoles via a day-one patch. This decision follows significant community backlash after the studio initially announced that the game would only offer 30 FPS Quality Mode and 40 FPS Balanced Mode on high-end consoles.
The Performance Mode, which targets 60 FPS, will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X. The PlayStation 5 Pro version will also feature additional visual enhancements. Conversely, the Xbox Series S will remain limited to a 30 FPS mode.
Developed by former Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 developers, the game is set in 14th-century Europe and features an open world. The title is scheduled for release on September 3, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
