The Blood of Dawnwalker modders remove 30-day time limit on PC

Modders have released tools for the PC version of the new RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker to alter or remove the game’s controversial 30-day time limit. The original mechanic, designed by Rebel Wolves, requires the protagonist, Coen, to save his family within a strict 30-day window, forcing players to make difficult choices regarding which quests and skills to prioritize.

Two primary modifications are available to address player criticism regarding this time pressure. The ‘Better Story Timer’ mod allows players to extend the main story deadline from 30 to 90 days, reduce the time consumed by specific missions, and prevent skill learning from advancing the calendar. For those seeking to eliminate the constraint entirely, the ‘Infinite Time – No Day Limit’ mod extends the mission deadline to 99,999 days.

These modifications are currently exclusive to PC players and are intended to facilitate deeper exploration of Vale Sangora and more comprehensive character development without the pressure of the ticking clock.
