The Body Shop reports profit amid Nordic expansion

The Body Shop has reported a profit of 13 million SEK following a 16-month fiscal period spanning from September 2024 to December 2025. The company achieved a turnover of 82.8 million SEK, resulting in an operating margin of 15.7 percent. This performance exceeded the owners' initial goal of reaching a break-even point during the first year of the new company's operations.

Growth has been driven by a strategic focus on e-commerce and an expanded retail network. To support digital sales and reduce delivery times, a new warehouse was established in Stockholm. The company has also partnered with approximately 130 retailers, including the e-commerce firm Lyko, to complement its own sales channels.

In terms of physical presence, the company now operates 32 stores across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, most of which are managed by franchisees. Owners are currently seeking additional locations in major cities such as Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen, with plans to potentially add 30 more stores.
