The Bodyguard musical to perform in Bulgaria

The 1992 romantic thriller ‘The Bodyguard’, starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, remains a cultural phenomenon. The film’s soundtrack holds the Guinness World Record as the best-selling film soundtrack in history, with over 45 million copies sold worldwide. The iconic track ‘I Will Always Love You’, originally written by Dolly Parton, spent 14 weeks at the top of the Billboard charts.

Following its success as a film that earned over $411 million at the global box office, the story has transitioned to the stage. A large-scale musical adaptation of ‘The Bodyguard’ will be performed at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Bulgaria from October 2 to October 4.
