The BossHoss summer tour features custom GLP lighting design

For the 2026 summer tour of the German band The BossHoss, titled ‘Back To The R(B)oots’, lighting designer Pascal Wagner is utilizing a custom-built lighting setup. The design aims to blend classic rock’n’roll aesthetics with modern moving light technology.

The setup features 24 GLP impression X5 Compact fixtures arranged into four custom-made ‘SixBars’. By using a tight zoom on these washlights, Wagner creates defined beams that mimic the look of traditional ACL groups while allowing for independent movement, color changes, and pixel control. This configuration is supplemented by four GLP JDC Burst 1 units used for backdrop lighting and strobe effects.

The tour, which includes approximately 35 dates primarily at open-air venues between mid-May and mid-September 2026, involves technical production and special construction by hell begeistert GmbH.
