THE BOYZ to Continue as Nine‑Member Group Under New Label

On 6 August 2026 the nine members of South Korean idol group THE BOYZ – Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo and Eric – announced they have signed a group contract to keep the band active as a nine‑member unit. The decision follows a legal dispute with their former agency ONE HUNDRED, which was accused of unpaid earnings and breach of trust. A South Korean court granted an injunction in April that suspended the exclusive contracts of the nine members, allowing them to pursue solo activities with separate agencies while maintaining group activities under a newly established label system. Member New is not part of the new agreement, and Haknyeon was not mentioned in the announcement. The members emphasized that their resolve to stay together “has never changed” and thanked fans (THE B) for their support, pledging to continue delivering performances both as a group and individually.
