Fans of the K-pop group THE BOYZ have expressed concern following social media activity suggesting a rift between members. On September 17, it was observed that several members with Instagram accounts were no longer following member New. This included former member Haknyeon, leading to speculation regarding whether the members unfollowed New or if New utilized a ‘soft-block’ to remove them.

The social media confusion follows a period of significant instability for the group. In February, all members except New filed to terminate their exclusive contracts, which were subsequently suspended by an injunction in April. By August, nine members were announced to be active under a different company, while New left his agency later that month.
