The Brine to host grand opening at Louisiana Boardwalk

Chef Gabriel Balderas is set to open The Brine, a new contemporary Southern restaurant, at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City. The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, October 2, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Located along the riverfront and connected to The Picklr Bossier City, the restaurant will focus on contemporary Southern cuisine using thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Balderas intends to incorporate produce from his own Nourishing Farms in northwest Louisiana into the menu. The establishment will also feature house-crafted cocktails and a full espresso program.

The venue is designed as a family-friendly gathering space and is expected to host live music, movie nights, and other community events. The opening coincides with the reopening of the restored Louisiana Boardwalk carousel, which will offer nearby concessions.
