The Calile achieves record four-year run in World's 50 Best Hotels list

The Calile in Brisbane has secured a place in the 2026 extended list of The World's 50 Best Hotels, ranking 83rd. This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year the hotel has appeared on the list, making it the only hotel in Oceania to have featured in every edition since the awards began in 2023.

Located in Fortitude Valley, the 175-room hotel is noted for its subtropical design, featuring open-air corridors, vertical gardens, and a signature 30-metre pool. General Manager Chris Kemlo attributed the ranking to the team's dedication and consistency.

Other regional highlights include New Zealand's Huka Lodge, which rose to the 82nd spot on the extended list. The top 50 rankings are scheduled to be announced in Paris on September 15, 2026.
