The Cheap Thrills release new single ‘looking’
Indie band The Cheap Thrills has released a new single titled ‘looking’, a politically charged anthem set to be featured on their upcoming debut album, ‘Keep Cheap’. The track features a synth-laden chorus and spoken word elements from frontman Lewis Pike, exploring themes of societal pressure and personal agency.
The music video for ‘looking’, directed by actor Mike Noble, was filmed on the streets of Liverpool. The band’s upcoming album is described as an uplifting project that celebrates their Liverpool roots while addressing universal messages.
Following the success of previous singles like ‘reborn’ and ‘codependence’—the latter of which was used in a Liverpool FC European kit campaign—the band is preparing for a headline tour in October after recent large-scale performances at festivals such as Glastonbury.
