The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints releases Joseph Smith financial records

The Church Historian’s Press has released the Joseph Smith Papers Financial Records series ebook. This collection follows the completion of the series on the Joseph Smith Papers website and provides historical context for nearly 2,000 financial documents, including transcripts and annotations. The records aim to illuminate both the personal finances of Joseph Smith and the temporal affairs of the early Church.

In other developments, Elder Gérald Caussé and his wife, Sister Valérie Caussé, conducted a ministering visit to Burundi on October 21-22, 2026. Accompanied by Elder Alfred K. Kyungu and Sister Lucie Kyungu, the visit included meetings with members, missionaries, and Church leaders in Bujumbura.
