The Cure headlines Festival de Nîmes with three sold‑out shows
British rock group The Cure performed three consecutive, sold‑out concerts on July 24‑26, 2024 at the Roman arena in Nîmes, France, as part of the Festival de Nîmes. The shows marked the band's first appearance at the venue in 28 years, following an earlier concert there in 1998.
The performances featured a 30‑song setlist that included classic tracks such as “Just Like Heaven”, “Boys Don’t Cry”, “Friday I’m in Love” and “Lullaby”, as well as material from their 2024 album Songs of a Lost World. Notably, the band played “Letter to Elise” live for the first time in a decade. The added third night was prompted by overwhelming ticket demand, with fans from across Europe and beyond attending. The concerts were preceded by opening acts Zélie Zéphyr and And Also The Trees.
