The Cure performs 27-song set for 35,000 fans in Manchester

The Cure performed a career-spanning concert at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester before a crowd of approximately 35,000 people. The setlist included 27 songs, ranging from dark, atmospheric tracks like ‘A Forest’ and ‘Endsong’ to popular hits such as ‘Friday I’m in Love’, ‘The Lovecats’, and ‘Boys Don’t Cry’.

Lead singer Robert Smith, the band's only original member, performed a two-hour set that drew both long-time fans and a younger generation of listeners. The event featured support from local band Slow Readers Club and shoegaze group Slowdive.
