The Cure's 15th Studio Album Rumored for November 2026

A French fan site, Pictures of Cure, claims an anonymous source at Universal has listed The Cure’s fifteenth studio album for release in November 2026. Neither the band nor frontman Robert Smith or Universal have confirmed the date.

In a June 2026 BBC Radio 6 Music interview, Smith said the album was finished and being delivered to the label, describing it as “darker than Songs of a Lost World,” the companion record released in November 2024. The band recorded the material at Rockfield Studios in Wales during sessions that produced three albums’ worth of songs.

The rumor was first posted on July 31, 2026, and has been repeated on fan forums, but it remains unverified.
