The Daily Kitchen & Bar to close in Carytown

The Daily Kitchen & Bar in Carytown is scheduled to close following its final service on September 6th. The restaurant, which opened in 2013, has operated for 13 years at the corner of Cary and Sheppard streets.

Owner Richmond Restaurant Group (RRG) stated the decision to close the location was driven by the need for a full building renovation. Co-owner Michelle Williams indicated that the space will be reimagined into an entirely new dining concept, though specific details regarding the new brand or reopening timeline have not yet been released.

The company’s Short Pump location, The Daily at Greengate, will remain open and continue its current operations.
