The Dalmore and The Balvenie announce new limited-edition whisky collections

The Dalmore has announced its 2026 Distillery Select Series release, featuring a 14-year-old single malt finished in Semisecco Marsala casks. The expression, bottled at 53.7% ABV, underwent an initial maturation in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels followed by one year and nine months in Marsala casks. This limited release is restricted to 1,110 bottles and is priced at £350, with a general release scheduled for August 31, 2026.

Separately, The Balvenie Distillery has introduced the Balvenie 1931 Collection. This limited-edition series includes three single malt Scotch whiskies aged 12, 15, and 88 years. The centerpiece is an 88-year-old whisky distilled in 1931 and matured in a European oak Sherry butt sourced from Jerez, Spain. The collection is designed to showcase the distillery’s traditional craftsmanship, including floor maltings and coopering.
